Nevaeh’s Lemonade Stand. An idea thought up by a 4 year old and brought to life by a team of friends.
Nevaeh was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma (a rare type of childhood cancer that develops in infants and young children). While visiting hospitals and going through treatments, Nevaeh came up with the idea to sell lemonade to raise money for other sick children. Last year we stopped by one of the meetings for the 1st Annual Nevaeh’s Lemonade Stand. The team was busy preparing lemons, drawing and playing games (amongst all the actual hard work that goes into an event like this).
This year the 2nd Annual Nevaeh’s Lemonade Stand was just as much a success – and then some! We were honored to be a part of the fundraising efforts by providing the event with our Flash Dance Photo Booth. In total (at last update), Nevaeh’s Lemonade Stand collected OVER $40,000 in 5 hours! It wouldn’t have been possible without the help from volunteers and vendors! As an extra dash of happiness, days before this years event, Nevaeh and her family were given the amazing news; she’s cancer free… that’s enough to celebrate! Now lets help all the other sick kids reach their health goals, one cup of lemonade at a time!
